Plastering is a traditional trade involving a wet sand and cement slurry being applied to walls, before being covered with a white plaster top coat. The plaster is shaped into flat surfaces that tidies up brickwork and makes a smooth, pleasing finish to walls that make them ready to accept paint and tile finishes. Adopted largely in WA because of our double brick construction, it is finding its way to the front facade of houses creating a distinct Mediterranean character that can be decorated and redecorated at any time.
