ABN Group Directors, Dale Alcock
and Garry Brown-Neaves both started their careers in the building
industry as apprentice bricklayers. With their own successful trade
careers behind them, Dale and Garry take a keen interest in ensuring the
highest standards of build quality are met each day on ABN building
sites across the State.
Recognising the increased skills
shortages, ABN began in 2004 direct indenturing its own apprentices
through the group's registered training organisation, ABN Training.
Today, ABN has seen the
completion of over 370 of its apprentices, and is an award-winner in the
training of 'top' young tradespeople.
For many businesses, apprenticeships are a short-term thing. For us, our apprentices are central to our long-term plans.
