Osborne Park-based property group Alcock Brown-Neaves has stepped into the Victorian building and property market after buying a major stake in builder Boutique Homes.
The majority acquisition will see the Victorian builder join one of Australia's largest building group including Webb & Brown-Neaves, Dale Alcock Homes, Celebration Homes and Homebuyers Centre.
An ABN spokesperson told WA Business News the amount paid to acquire the Boutique stake is unable to be disclosed at this time.
Boutique currently has nine display homes in Victoria and plans to open a further 10 homes in the next 18 months.
ABN managing director Dale Alcock and partner Garry Brown-Neaves said the move will make it possible for the group to offer affordable homes to Western Australians and Victorians.
"Boutique Homes provide a professional service, and have comparative strengths in their management to our company. We are confident that with the combined wealth of knowledge, the venture will be extremely successful," Mr Alcock said.
ABN was established in 1978 and since then has constructed more than 31,000 homes in WA.
