We are pleased to announce the appointment of Iona MacPherson as ABN Group’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Iona joins the Group with significant experience in finance and business management, with expertise in capital management, technology and systems transformation. Her impressive background includes several CFO roles in a diverse range of industries, including logistics, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods and technology.
Over the last 10 years, Iona has worked with a variety of organisations, including natural beauty group BWX, packaging manufacturer Pro-Pac, and pharmacy group Sigma Healthcare.
Iona displays the strong emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, humour and people-centred approach that we believe will fit perfectly within ABN Group.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Iona loves being active, cricket and exploring the outdoors. She’s an avid traveller who enjoys immersing herself in new environments and cultures.
Iona’s transition into the business
Iona will commence with the Group on Monday 29 April and will work closely with current CFO Jeff Miller to ensure an effective and smooth transfer of knowledge.
We wish to thank Jeff Miller for his considerable contribution to the business over the past 33 years. He has played a significant role in our expansion and growth as an industry leader. Jeff will continue with the Group until 30 June.
