The ABN Group story
We’ve grown a lot over the years. Throughout our over four decades of business, we have supported the dreams of thousands of Australians and become a leader in construction, property and finance. We’re proud of our history and where we started. We’re proud of how we got here and what we’ve achieved. And we’re excited about what the future holds as we continue to deliver the dream of home ownership.
1978 – Garry Brown-Neaves and John Webb establish Webb & Brown-Neaves
1983 – Dale Alcock joins Webb & Brown-Neaves as a two-way operator.
1987 – Dale joins Garry and John as a partner starting Dale Alcock Homes
1989 – Dale purchases John Webb’s share in Webb & Brown Neaves after he retires
1990 – Boeing Plumbing is established
1991 – Homebuyers Centre is established
1992 – Ceiling Solutions is established
1995 – GJ Constructions becomes Dale Alcock Homes South West

1997 – Resolve Finance is established
2002 – Celebration Homes is established
2004 – Existing company The Maker Designer Kitchens is acquired. Dale Alcock Projects, PACT Construction, Hi-Point Roofing, Concretus and ABN Training established
2008 – ABN Group enters the Victorian market with the launch of Boutique Homes and the expansion of Resolve Finance.
2009 – Aidan Hooper becomes Managing Director and Partner in ABN Group Victoria.
2016 – Parcel Property is established. Dale purchases Garry Brown-Neaves’ share in the ABN Group.
2018 – Andrew Roberts is appointed CEO of ABN Group. Leederville is chosen for new Perth headquarters.
2021 – ABN Group open its doors to its new home in Leederville. Home Collective in Leederville launches, bringing together the retail space for each building company into one hub.Home Assist, the Group’s new home maintenance business, launches.
2022 – Home Collective South West launches in Bunbury. Abode Inspiration Studio launches in Geelong. Ayten Ozenc is appointed as the Group’s first CIO
