On any given night, tens of thousands of people across Australia won’t have a safe and secure place to sleep. Some will be outside, sleeping rough and exposed to the elements, while others will be sleeping in cars, couch surfing or in temporary shelters.  According to the 2022 Census, over 122,000 people are experiencing homelessness in Australia and countless more are at risk homelessness. As one of Australia’s largest home builders, we are acutely aware of the challenges people face in accessing solid housing, let along secure the dream of home ownership, which is why we hold the work of Vinnies and the Vinnies CEO Sleepout so important.
