ABN Group has implemented Eftsure, a data verification solution, to enhance payment security and prevent cyber fraud. Eftsure independently verifies supplier and subcontractor details, ensuring payments are made securely to the intended recipient.

All suppliers and subcontractors must register with Eftsure and verify their details before doing business with us. The business information required for verification includes:

Bank details
Australian Business Number (ABN)
Trading name
GST registration
Company contact information

Why Eftsure?

Cyber fraud, including phishing scams and fraudulent payment alterations, is a serious risk. Eftsure provides real-time, continuous monitoring of supplier data to protect against fraud and errors.

How secure is Eftsure?

How can I tell whether this is a scam or not?

When you follow the email instructions to verify your details via Eftsure’s web portal, you will see your bank account details are partly populated, which identifies you and names ABN Group, which confirms the legitimacy of the email.

Guidance for new suppliers & subcontractors

After registering your details, an Eftsure team member may contact you within 24-48 hours to verify the accuracy of the provided information. You may also receive a call from our Accounts Payable department if Eftsure is unable to contact you.

You will receive a confirmation email from Eftsure once your data has been verified.

Guidance for existing suppliers & subcontractors

If you are an existing supplier or subcontractor, Eftsure will validate your account details against its national database of over four million verified vendors.

Any suppliers or subcontractors that are not already Eftsure verified will need to complete the verification process. You will receive an email from verifications@abngroup.com.au with information and instructions on how to do this.

How to change your data with Eftsure?

It is your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date. Please notify us immediately if your details change or if you notice any discrepancies.

To update your details, contact the ABN Group department that you normally do business with or Accounts Payable. You will receive an email from Eftsure with a link to update your data in their portal.

After updating, you will receive a confirmation email once your data has been verified. Depending on the data to be updated, you may receive a phone call from an Eftsure team member to verify your details over the phone before you receive a confirmation email.
