Running and wheezing for a good cause
On Sunday 6 April, we were proud to participate in Run for the Kids, supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for team members from across our Victorian business to come together for community, health and fitness while contributing to a meaningful cause. Over 50 ABN Group employees participated in both the short and long courses or joined the dedicated ABN Group ‘Cheer Squad’ on the sidelines to provide support and encouragement along the way.
As a team we collectively raised $1,379 for the Good Friday Appeal and ABN Group Victoria was proud to match the contribution, bringing the total donation to $2,785 in support of this important cause.
We also had a marquee set up on the day for the team to enjoy healthy nibbles and refreshments, including bottles of water and energy drinks, protein bars and other snacks.
Everyone has a fantastic time, loving the opportunity to come together and challenge themselves outside the work environment while doing good. We’ve already started planning ahead for the Melbourne Marathon in October 2025.
